Join us at the Skagen Hiking Festival

Update for 2019 is comming soon

Find your hiking shoes and participate in the Skagen Hiking Festival from 7th to 9th September 2018.

The Skagen Hiking Festival was arranged for the first time in September 2017 and became a fantastic weekend with lots of happy hikers, sunshine, blue sky and high spirits. Therefore we plan to repeat the success in 2018.

Once again, it will be a weekend that offers plenty of hiking opportunities, regardless of physical fitness and previous experience. Walking is a gentle way of training your limbs and is generally good for body and soul – and the cheapest way of training. The most important thing is to get outdoors, get lots of fresh air, enjoy the beautiful nature, make new acquaintances and listen to good tales on your way.

Stay at the centre of the events

The hikes start at Skagen Strand Hotel and Holiday Centre. Here, you can join us for communal eating in the mornings and evenings, also if you do not stay at the hotel. Saturday night, we organize a great festive night at Restaurant Skagen Strand, a pleasant event including a delicious menu and entertainment – the perfect chance to meet old acquaintances and make new ones.

Book a holiday home at Skagen Strand and you will be staying at the centre of the events. Our holiday homes are fully equipped and have room for 7 persons. Our guests have free access to all our facilities, for instance ourwater park.

We have a special, low-priced offer for you during the Skagen Hiking Festival:

Stay 2 nights at a holiday house for ONLY DKK 1,800 per house

Stay 3 nights and get the last night FREE!

The offer concerns the period from 6th to 10th September 2018.

The nature at the top of Denmark is extremely beautiful and special, and the hikes will take you over the heaths, through dune plantations, along the coastline, to the migrating dune Råbjerg Mile and the Skagens Gren headland. Local guides will accompany you on all hikes and show you paths, which you may not be able to find otherwise. Simply register for the hikes you wish to participate in, and we will provide you with a packed lunch, which you can enjoy on the way. Read more and register here
